Rob is a skilled and experienced business lawyer whose practice focuses on corporate, business, litigation, administrative, and tax matters for clients in highly regulated industries. Rob has represented clients in joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions, corporate financings, private offerings, regulatory applications, administrative and governing body investigations and appeals, and other general corporate matters. While he has extensive experience representing a variety of institutions and practitioners, Rob also represents oil and gas vendors and service providers, insurance and financial institutions, real estate developers, and natural resource companies, and supply chain contractors at all levels, and a broad range of high tech companies.

Rob has successfully represented individual and corporate clients in complex business litigation matters, including appellate practice in both federal and state courts for 25 years. He assists clients in structuring, acquiring, disposing of, operating, and liquidating all types and sizes of business entities in a variety of industries. He counsels and advises clients including for profit and non-profit corporations, all kinds of partnerships and limited liability companies concerning general business matters, asset protection, estate planning, and business succession issues. He also represents trade associations, charities, private foundations, and lobbying organizations.

Mr. Rainey is a frequent speaker on litigation, business, and estate planning, including continuing legal education seminars. Mr. Rainey co-authored a Warren Gorham and Lamont Law Journal Article "The Availability of Small Business Administration Loans for Agricultural Enterprises", as well as authored newsletter Articles for Oklahoma City Chamber of Commerce, Oklahoma Department of Commerce, and Oklahoma Home-Based Business Association. Mr. Rainey has served as lobbyist and assistant local counsel for the American Insurance Association.

Rob is married to Carilyn Rainey, an attorney at the Firm. They have three girls, one of which attend Deer Creek schools, the oldest attends the University of Oklahoma, and the second oldest attends Tulsa University. The family attends St. Mary's Episcopal Church in Edmond, Oklahoma.

Rob is a federal and state licensed Master Class Falconer, and actively participates in his childhood passion of Falconry, the world's oldest field sport which involves taking wild quarry in its natural state with a trained raptor.
